Core skills

Skills and capabilities most closely associated with this opportunity.

Sample interview questions
How do you maintain consistency when annotating a large volume of similar items?

I carefully review the project guidelines before starting, create concise notes for recurring decision rules, and periodically audit my completed work against examples. When I encounter an ambiguous case, I document it and seek clarification rather than making an unsupported assumption.

Describe how you would handle an annotation item that is unclear or lacks enough context.

I would first apply the documented rules and conduct only the research permitted within the allocated time. If the item remains ambiguous, I would use the designated uncertainty or escalation process and clearly record why a confident decision was not possible.

How do your French-Canadian and English skills support this role?

I can evaluate French-Canadian language content with close attention to meaning, register, grammar, and regional usage. My advanced English allows me to understand project instructions, communicate issues clearly, and apply English-language guidelines accurately.

How would you meet short throughput targets without compromising quality?

I would organize my work into focused blocks, prioritize guideline familiarity early in the project, and use a consistent review routine for higher-risk items. This helps me work efficiently while reserving time to check accuracy before submission.

What steps do you take to protect confidential client information?

I follow all NDA and platform requirements, use secure devices and connections, avoid sharing project materials, and keep client data separate from personal files. I also report any suspected security issue immediately through the approved channel.
