I have been in Healthcare Management for about 9 years. The skills I have can be used in any industry. What I enjoy most is developing employees and helping them achieve goals they didn’t expect they could. For the 7 years of Management at a Private Breast Care Center, Human Resources and Accounting was a very big part of my role. With over 15 years experience in Medical Billing deciding on what Benefits to choose for the company was an easy task. I was also the go to for any benefit questions and I advocated for my staff when needed. I currently work from home to take care of my mother who has dementia and with this decision I had to unfortunately leave my Practice Manager role. However, I m still with the same employer since they knew I was too valuable to let go. Although the title is Charge Entry Specialist, I mainly run a project for denials for 8 Practices and help to train new people, as well as offer billing training to avoid future claim denials.
