Educator / Educational Leader

I am Jade Ulmar B. Oropesa, a dedicated and passionate educator with a strong background in educational leadership and management. Currently, I am pursuing my Master of Arts in Education majoring in Educational Leadership and Management at the Philippine Normal University, with 30 units completed. I hold a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biological Science from Universidad De Manila, where I graduated Cum Laude. I am a licensed professional teacher with valid certification until 2025.

Throughout my career, I have held various leadership roles at Don Bosco Technical College, including Deputy Principal for Grade School & Junior High School, Assistant Principal for Academic Affairs, and Subject Area Coordinator for Science and Research. I have also served as a science teacher and adviser for junior and senior high school students, demonstrating my commitment to student development and academic excellence.

I am proficient in educational technology tools such as Google for Education applications, Edpuzzle, and Canva, which I integrate into my teaching to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. I have participated in numerous trainings and conferences focused on curriculum development, assessment strategies, digital wellbeing, and hybrid learning, reflecting my dedication to continuous professional growth.

My skills extend beyond teaching to include public speaking, leadership, communication, problem-solving, organization, management, and administrative tasks. I am also familiar with basic computer skills, photo editing, and graphic designing, which support my educational and leadership roles.

I am fluent in English and Filipino, with beginner-level knowledge of Spanish and Japanese. I am committed to fostering a positive and effective learning environment and contributing to the advancement of educational standards and practices.
