I am a friendly, resourceful, and tech-savvy Support Specialist with experience in customer service environments. I am adept at identifying issues over the phone, providing patient and solutions-focused support. I thrive in both independent and team settings, and my calm and empathetic communication style has been shaped by years of experience as a teacher.
I have worked as a Customer Support Agent, where I provided frontline customer service in a fast-paced call center environment. I resolved user account and billing issues while maintaining high satisfaction ratings and helped non-technical customers troubleshoot minor tech problems, including resetting routers, updating drivers, etc.
Since February 2018, I have been working as an Online/In Person ESL Teacher, modifying lessons for individual learners based on their current skill set and needs. I plan and implement lessons that consist of skill-building techniques for reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I conduct small group and individual lessons, identify and suggest additional resources for English Language Learners and their families, and create a trusting atmosphere where students feel comfortable and supported.
From June 2022 to present, I have worked as a Creative Assistant & Content Support for remote project-based clients. I create content for social media (Instagram), edit and proofread materials in English and Portuguese, design templates and simple branded assets using Canva, and use Trello and Notion for content planning and delivery coordination.
Since February 2023, I have also been a Virtual Assistant working remotely and freelancing. I manage schedules, organize inboxes, handle customer communication, create internal documents and databases using Google Workspace and Notion, and am familiar with tools like ClickUp, HubSpot, Slack, Hawksoft, EZLynx, etc. I support online businesses and independent professionals with task coordination and follow-up.
I am fluent in English and Portuguese, with beginner-level Spanish. My educational background includes studies in Criminology, Computer Systems Analysis and Development, and a Michigan Proficiency Degree from ICBEU Languages School.
