Responsible for managing the full financial function of a lending group comprising seven entities, including accounting, consolidations, management reporting, and financial analysis. Developed and maintained the financial reporting model used for shareholder reporting, managed the end-to-end accounting function, performed group consolidations, prepared monthly management accounts, completed month-end close, and managed a debtor portfolio of approximately R360 million.

Prepared and reviewed financial statements and audit working papers, evaluated internal controls and governance frameworks, prepared and monitored risk registers and budgets, managed audit teams and client communications, and reported control deficiencies and management letter points.
