I am an Anthropology Honours graduate with a strong foundation in qualitative research, ethnographic inquiry, interviewing, social and cultural analysis, and research writing.
I conducted an Honours research project examining the relationship between gender roles and depression. Through this work, I developed practical experience in participant interviews, ethical research practice, thematic analysis, qualitative data collection, and communicating findings on sensitive social issues.
I have international professional experience in South Africa and Uzbekistan, which has strengthened my cross-cultural communication, cultural awareness, adaptability, and interpersonal skills. I am comfortable working with people from diverse linguistic, cultural, and social backgrounds.
As an English teacher in both public-school and online environments, I created tailored learning materials, provided academic guidance, and adapted my communication style to individual needs. I have experience working independently, managing schedules, and building positive professional relationships.
I am seeking opportunities in international research, community development, cultural research, NGOs, fieldwork, education, and remote social research. I am motivated by work related to culture and society, gender and social issues, community development, social behaviour, cultural change, and international development.
