Professional summary

I am a software delivery leader with an engineering background and more than 10 years of experience delivering enterprise technology transformation at EDP, a major global energy group.

I lead delivery performance improvement, technology operating-model design, product-team transformation, and executive-level advisory. I combine people leadership with technical judgment and accountability for measurable delivery outcomes.

I have built and scaled agile and delivery capabilities, including EDP's Agile Centre of Excellence, and have hired more than 50 professionals. My experience includes coaching delivery managers, product owners, agile coaches, developers, and senior business leaders.

I have led large-scale transformations involving hundreds of professionals, application ownership models, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and cross-team dependencies. I have improved lead time through WIP controls, ageing-work reviews, and delivery analytics.

I also drive AI adoption across the software development lifecycle, designing AI-assisted delivery models with human validation. My technical background spans cloud delivery, resilience, enterprise platforms, release management, quality assurance, and software engineering.

I am experienced in creating practical governance, reporting, workflows, and dashboards that enable organizations to improve predictability, performance, and business outcomes.

Software Delivery Lead EDP

Lead delivery performance improvement across approximately 10 product teams and 120 to 150 professionals within EDP's Global Apps Factory and group-wide initiatives. Define lead-time targets, drive operating-model adoption, and report outcomes to executive leadership.

Delivered EDP's first demonstrated lead-time reduction in the Global Apps Factory, reducing P85 time to release from 112 days in 2024 to 85 days in 2025 through WIP controls and reviews of ageing work. Created delivery reporting and guidelines adopted across business units, while developing Delivery Managers and Product Owners.

Lead enterprise AI-agent adoption across four product teams, defining AI-assisted delivery practices with human validation. Developed dependency-analysis workflows, specifications, and PRD templates, achieving improved time-to-done results in an AI adoption pilot.

Agile Coach and Team Lead EDP Group

Established EDP's first Agile Centre of Excellence and scaled it from one to 18 coaches supporting the group. Led interviews, hiring decisions, onboarding, mentoring, performance reviews, and career development for agile and delivery professionals.

Led EDP Comercial's first business-unit transformation at scale, changing a fragmented portfolio of more than 100 parallel projects into 14 product teams spanning over 400 professionals and approximately EUR 20M in annual CAPEX. Designed team structures, application ownership, collaboration models, visibility, forecasting, and budget controls.

Trained more than 1,000 professionals across Portugal, Spain, Brazil, and the United States, from developers to board members. Advised executives on organizational change and delivery transformation.

Scrum Master EDP Online

Appointed as EDP's first Scrum Master and established its first product-delivery pilot during the migration from on-premise SharePoint to Google Cloud, PHP, and Angular. Recovered an at-risk initiative through stakeholder alignment and viable scope definition, meeting the go-live date.

Hired more than 20 developers through consultancies, leading CV screening, interviews, hiring decisions, exits, and replacements. Shaped resilience and performance solutions including lazy loading, pagination, local data replication, fallback reads, queued changes, and retry mechanisms.

Defined cloud capacity limits, production resource alerts, workflows, estimation practices, release processes, incident-priority rules, and an HTML service-health dashboard.
