About University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus
We are the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, an academic health sciences campus in Aurora, Colorado. Our campus brings together multiple schools and colleges across the health sciences, including medicine, pharmacy, nursing, dentistry, and public health, as well as graduate programs in biological and biomedical sciences. Our mission centers on transformative education, science, medicine, and healthcare. We are recognized for combining teaching, research, and clinical care in one integrated environment that supports discovery and prepares the next generation of health professionals. We are also a major hub for academic medicine in the Rocky Mountain region. Our campus is home to a wide range of programs and partners, including University of Colorado Hospital and Children’s Hospital Colorado, which strengthens our role in advanced patient care, clinical training, and medical innovation. Our research enterprise is a defining part of who we are. We support work across biomedical and health sciences disciplines, with an emphasis on scientific discovery that can improve patient outcomes, public health, and the future of medicine. We operate from our campus in Aurora, Colorado, where our main address is the Fitzsimons Building at 13001 East 17th Place. This location serves as the center of our academic, research, and clinical mission. As part of the University of Colorado system, we focus on training health leaders, advancing knowledge, and translating discoveries into real-world care.
