About me
I am a highly motivated and experienced EFL/ESOL tutor with a proven track record of successfully tutoring individuals and small groups across all CEFR levels (A1-C2) within virtual EdTech environments. My passion lies in fostering a supportive learning atmosphere where students can achieve both academic and personal growth. I have been self-employed since 1990, delivering high-impact instruction in both face-to-face and online settings. I design and implement structured programmes that have resulted in a 95%+ student pass rate. My approach includes using adaptive learning platforms to personalise learning pathways and increase student engagement. I integrate conversational practice and cultural fluency modules to build functional language skills for real-life and academic settings. Additionally, I develop customised lesson plans based on diagnostic assessments and learner data, promoting autonomy and confidence through metacognitive strategies and continuous feedback loops.
