Project Manager

I am Vasco Guerreiro, a dedicated Product and Operations Manager based in Faro, Portugal, with extensive experience in managing teams and projects within the digital and software development sectors. Over the years, I have developed a strong expertise in project management, product development, and operational leadership, ensuring efficient workflows and strategic growth for the organisations I work with.

My journey began with a solid academic foundation, holding a BS in Economics from Universidade do Algarve. I have continuously enhanced my skills through certifications such as Certified Product Manager, Certified Scrum Product Owner, and Design Thinking for Business Innovation.

In my recent roles, I have successfully managed cross-functional teams, including frontend and design units, driving initiatives like the implementation of a Design System used department-wide. I excel at coordinating decentralised teams, specifying technical requirements, and improving operational flows to optimise performance.

I am passionate about agile methodologies and project planning, which I apply to deliver projects on scope, budget, and time. My communication and writing skills enable me to effectively liaise with stakeholders and internal teams to meet business objectives.

Fluent in English and Portuguese, I am comfortable working in multicultural environments. I am also adept at using various project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, Microsoft 365, and Slack to streamline processes and enhance team productivity.
