Full Stack Software Engineer

I am Muhammad Samir Assawalhy, a passionate Full Stack Software Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Systems Engineering from Zagazig University, Egypt. Throughout my academic journey, I have maintained a strong GPA of 3.3/4 and proudly achieved first place among university teams in the ICPC competitions for three consecutive years. This experience has sharpened my problem-solving skills and deepened my understanding of algorithms and programming.

In my professional experience at SciCave in Cairo, I have built web applications using modern technologies such as TypeScript, React.js, Next.js, Laravel, and PHP. I’ve tested frontend applications using Cypress and have implemented CI/CD pipelines to ensure quality and efficiency. My responsibilities also included managing deployments with Docker and AWS EC2, as well as designing UI/UX interfaces using Figma while collaborating closely with clients to gather requirements.

I have developed several projects that showcase my skills, including Arabi.js, a JavaScript Arabization tool based on Babel.js, and Rasm, a graphing calculator for plotting math functions and animating geometric shapes. Additionally, I created Da7ee7 Bots, a Django-based dashboard to automate messaging for multiple Telegram bots, demonstrating my ability to integrate backend and frontend technologies effectively.

My achievements include being an ACPC finalist for three consecutive years, securing third place and global nomination in the NASA Space Apps challenge with my team Pyroguardians, and ranking among the top 15 teams locally in the IEEEXtreme 17.0 competition. These accomplishments reflect my dedication to competitive programming and continuous learning.

Beyond coding, I am actively involved in mentoring and instructing ICPC teams at Zagazig University, where I deliver weekly sessions on algorithms and C++ STL, author contest problems, and support my peers. I also served as the IT Committee Head for the ZagEng Team, leading the development of over 13 Telegram bots to assist students and automating tasks through Django and [hidden link] integration. I am eager to leverage my technical expertise and leadership skills to contribute to innovative software projects and collaborative environments.
