I am Claire Lopez, currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics at the Université de Lausanne and preparing to start a Master of Arts in Economics at the University of St. Gallen in Fall 2026. My academic journey has been complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Communication Systems from EPFL, which has equipped me with a strong analytical and technical foundation. I am passionate about leveraging data and technology to drive business insights and operational efficiency.

Throughout my professional experience, I have contributed to high-tech startup ecosystems through my roles at VentureLab in Lausanne. As a student business intelligence intern, I sourced entrepreneurs developing cutting-edge technologies and supported administrative and operational tasks. I also mentored new students to enhance team efficiency. My internship at VentureLab further allowed me to scout and screen Swiss startups, coordinate with experts and investors, and support marketing activities.

I have developed strong skills in Python programming, data analysis with libraries such as NumPy and Pandas, and proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. My project management experience includes planning, monitoring, and coordinating projects, which I have applied in academic simulations and real-world startup environments.

I am multilingual, fluent in French and English, with intermediate Spanish and beginner German skills, enabling me to communicate effectively in diverse environments. My interests include playing the piano, reading, and engaging in water sports such as windsurfing and sailing, which contribute to my well-rounded personality and discipline.
