Backend Software Engineer

I am a Backend Software Engineer with nearly 4 years of experience building enterprise applications, backend services, REST APIs, and microservices in cloud-native environments. My expertise lies primarily in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, PostgreSQL, Hibernate, RabbitMQ, AWS, and Kubernetes. I have a strong background in performance optimization, data modeling, CI/CD workflows, and delivering reliable software for business-critical systems.

Throughout my career, I have contributed to the development and maintenance of backend services for microservices-based enterprise platforms. I have successfully optimized complex Hibernate queries into native SQL, significantly reducing execution times and improving production performance. I also redesigned SAP HANA data models to reduce complexity and enhance scalability as data volumes increased.

I have experience building dashboards to improve delivery visibility and operational follow-up for project management. Additionally, I developed reusable Slack integrations using TypeScript within GitHub Actions to enhance cross-team communication and pipeline status updates.

My work includes contributing to CI/CD pipelines, internal tooling, and production-oriented engineering practices in cloud-native enterprise environments. I have also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at SAP, gaining experience across multiple product teams, supporting backend business logic, production support, and enterprise application enhancements.

I am currently pursuing a BSc in Information Systems at Unisinos, although my studies are currently on hold. I am fluent in Portuguese, have advanced proficiency in English, and basic knowledge of Spanish. I am certified as a Cloud Native Developer Java by SAP in 2024.
