AI / Backend Engineer

I am an AI-focused Backend Engineer with strong hands-on experience building scalable backend systems, enterprise applications, and production LLM workflows. My expertise lies in Python, C#, .NET, FastAPI, Django, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and modern AI engineering practices including LLM agents, RAG, prompt systems, structured outputs, evaluation, and observability. I have a proven track record of turning complex business operations into reliable, measurable automation across various industries such as property management, maritime operations, finance, and web platforms.

Currently, I work as an AI Engineer at Vendoroo, where I design and maintain production LLM-powered agents for resident messaging, property-manager support, work-order triage, summaries, and timelines. I build scalable backend services integrating AI workflows and improve AI reliability through prompt refactoring, skill-based agent design, and production log analysis. I also support task planning, provide technical guidance, and collaborate closely with product owners and QA teams.

Previously, I worked as a Software Engineer at PT Solutions in Istanbul, developing backend and enterprise software for terminal, port, and shipping operations. My responsibilities included building and maintaining business-critical modules, APIs, and operational tools for maritime transportation processes, as well as database design and performance improvements.

I have also freelanced as a Python Developer, designing Django-based web applications and REST APIs, improving performance and maintainability, and building financial analysis and trading automation tools. Earlier in my career, I contributed to backend and full-stack development, database design, and system maintenance for customer-facing business software projects.

My technical skills span AI/LLM technologies, backend frameworks, data management, DevOps, quality assurance, and software architecture.
