Data Engineer

I am a Data Engineer with over 5 years of experience specializing in ETL pipeline development, BI automation, and data migration. Throughout my career, I have successfully delivered full-cycle migrations for more than 20 law firms with zero production errors. I have developed and automated data pipelines behind over 15 director-level dashboards across a multi-country BPO cluster, significantly reducing data-to-report lead times from 2 days to under 1 hour.

My core technical stack includes advanced SQL/T-SQL, Python (with pandas and Polars), Ruby for ETL scripting, Power BI, and AWS cloud services such as Cloud9, Lambda, and S3. I am based in the Greater Tokyo Area on a spouse visa with full work authorization, and I am fluent in English and Spanish.

In my recent role at AffiniPay’s Docketwise, I built and maintained ETL migration pipelines for legal SaaS clients, ensuring zero production errors and automating manual cleanup processes to improve efficiency. I managed AWS environments and collaborated closely with clients to translate business logic into schema transformation rules.

Previously, I worked at Teleperformance Colombia, where I progressed from a BPO agent to a Data Engineer. I led the development of KPI reporting infrastructure for a multi-country cluster, created financial dashboards, and implemented automation that drastically improved reporting speed and accuracy. I also mentored team members and coordinated cross-functional teams across operations, finance, and HR.
