Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

I am a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer with experience building scalable business applications across backend and frontend stacks. I specialize in Python, Django, React, PostgreSQL, AWS, and CI/CD automation, and I enjoy working on systems that improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.

In my recent role at Icetek in Québec, Canada, I worked remotely on refactoring legacy systems, building interactive dashboards with Python and Plotly Dash, migrating configuration data into PostgreSQL, and improving database resilience with connection pooling and failover. I also automated deployment pipelines with GitHub Actions to streamline releases to AWS.

Before that, I worked at Mercos in Joinville, Brazil, where I developed end-to-end software in Python/Django and JavaScript/React. I focused on scalability and performance, wrote unit and integration tests, and contributed through code reviews and mentoring to help raise team quality and execution.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a Front-End Engineer and later Front-End Team Lead at Before TI in Campo Grande, Brazil. There I maintained a high-volume telecom sales system, upgraded legacy codebases using Vue.js, and built Cypress automation to support QA and frontend reliability.

I also gained experience as a Front-End Developer intern at Absolutier, where I helped implement an educational platform using JavaScript, Vue.js, Quasar, Git, and Docker. In addition, I taught basic computer skills for seniors as an IT Teacher at Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso do Sul, which strengthened my communication and mentoring abilities.

My background also includes research and applied development work on the BackSCNR project, where I built a Python application in Blender’s 3D environment to analyze patient torso scans and automate scoliosis detection and quantification. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering from Universidade Federal do Mato Grosso do Sul and have proficient English reading and comprehension skills, with good writing and speaking ability.
