Senior Full-Stack Developer & Director of Development

I am a senior full-stack developer with more than +10 years of experience building production-grade web, mobile, and AI-powered applications. My background spans frontend, backend, mobile, DevOps, payments, and architecture, with a strong focus on delivering scalable systems and clean technical solutions.

I currently serve as Director of Development at BOYANTS GROUP LLC, where I lead the architecture, payments, and infrastructure for a tourism and reservations platform serving Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. In this role, I have guided the platform through multiple generations, modernizing legacy systems into secure, decoupled, and high-performance applications.

I also work on personal ventures such as pagos-rd, a payment infrastructure project for the Dominican Republic, and self-hosted AI tooling that uses RAG pipelines and multi-agent systems. These projects reflect my interest in fintech infrastructure, applied AI, and privacy-first engineering.

My technical experience includes Angular, React, Next.js, NestJS, PHP, Laravel, Symfony, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Docker, Nginx, and mobile development with Ionic and Flutter. I have also worked extensively with payment integrations, real-time systems, CI/CD workflows, and cloud/self-hosted infrastructure.

Throughout my career, I have led teams, mentored junior developers, and established design and development standards across organizations. I value architecture, documentation, and maintainable systems, and I enjoy helping teams build reliable products that solve real business problems.

I am fluent in Spanish and English, and I have worked across remote and onsite environments with clients in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Spain, and the United States.
