Full Stack Engineer

I am a full stack engineer with 4+ years of experience shipping production web and mobile applications end-to-end, from architecture to deployment. I work across React, TypeScript, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Python/Django, and mobile technologies like Ionic/Capacitor.

I currently build features for an AI-powered research platform, where I work on everything from React UI and Django REST APIs to OpenSearch query optimization. I also develop GraphQL endpoints, faceted search interfaces, and data visualization dashboards used by pharma and biotech researchers.

I am comfortable working in distributed, remote teams and I value clear communication, fast execution, and strong ownership of the code and architecture I deliver. I use AI tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot daily to accelerate implementation while maintaining quality and accountability.

Previously, I worked on banking and payments systems, building Java Spring Boot APIs, Angular SPAs, and a mobile app migration from Ionic/Cordova to Capacitor. I also helped set up CI/CD pipelines, IAM with Keycloak, and cross-functional delivery across frontend and backend teams.

I have also worked as a frontend curriculum designer and instructor, where I taught React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Jest, and CI/CD concepts to professional bootcamp students. This experience strengthened my ability to explain technical concepts clearly and mentor other engineers.

Outside of employment, I have built and operated production projects such as a live raffle platform and a multi-tenant SaaS product. I am based in Ecuador and available to overlap with US time zones while working fully remote.
