About me
I am a TEFL-certified English tutor with experience teaching primary-level learners aged 5โ13 in both in-person and online-supported settings. I specialize in phonics, reading, pronunciation, and personalized ESL instruction.
I am flexible, self-motivated, and available for remote, part-time tutoring. I have a fully equipped home setup and am comfortable managing my own schedule and pricing to meet student needs.
I have worked one-on-one with learners to improve literacy, reading comprehension, vocabulary, and sentence structure. I also use interactive teaching methods such as TPR, games, and visuals to keep lessons engaging.
My professional experience includes tutoring at Ithembalethu Aftercare NPC and assisting in Foundation Phase classroom activities at Lydenburg Primary School. These roles strengthened my ability to support young learners academically and behaviorally.
I hold a Bachelor of Education in Foundation Phase in progress through UNISA, along with a BA Honours in Film and Television and a BA in Media Studies. I also completed TEFL/TESOL certification in 2025.
I am based in South Africa and speak SiSwati, English, and Afrikaans. I am available for remote work with a flexible timetable and am committed to long-term tutoring engagement.
