Hello! My name is Liza, I’ve done everything from building robots in undergrad to teaching high school students how to write the equation of a line. Web development, specifically interaction design, is a passion of mine due to the endless opportunities to try new things and improve upon past projects. I’m excited to embark on my next project!
Coursework included MATLAB, Electronics & Instrumentation, and Engineering Design. Participated in an autonomous robot project, requiring coding in Arduino (C++).
Certificate of completion. Participated in three group projects to be delivered as presentations. Curriculum included topics ranging from HTML to fullstack applications, requiring fast paced learning.
Taught Algebra I & II and Honors Algebra II to about 150 high school students each year. Managed multiple classrooms of 30 students each, teaching both in-person and online.
Developed and taught two dynamic lessons daily. Adapted lessons to accommodate a wide variety of learning/communication styles and attendance.
Wrote and administered exams, ensuring students met state academic standards.
Ensured the classroom environment was encouraging to all learners. Carefully worked through behavioral issues.
Strategically prioritized and balanced current course load with new projects and requests to meet agreed-upon goals and objectives.
Balanced the demands of the administration, students, parents, and fellow teachers, setting clear boundaries and maintaining professionalism at all times. Excellent conflict resolution skills.
