We’re on the lookout for HR Operations Manager to be the right-hand (or left, if you prefer) of Pearson’s Country Care Global Director. In other words, we’re seeking a team operations Rockstar! This gig is all about being the go-to maestro for vendor management, budget magic, and leading the charge on epic initiatives within our Country Care and  HR Operations leadership team. Ready to rock and roll?

Responsibilities:

  1. Vendor Wrangling:
    • You’ll be the mastermind behind our vendor relationships, ensuring they’re on point with contracts and delivering the goods as promised.
    • Score big by evaluating vendor performance, throwing in some negotiation skills, and keeping things innovative in our HR Shared Services world.
    • Do what it takes to keep your friends close and your [procurement and finance] enemies closer
  2. Budget Heroics:
    • It’s your show to juggle the numbers, making sure our HR Operations budget hits all the right notes. Keep an eye out for cost-saving opportunities and ride the finance waves like a pro.
    • Get in cahoots with the finance crew to keep everything in line and propose some budget hacks to boost our operations.
  3. Special Project Thrills:
    • Lead the charge on initiatives that’ll turbocharge our HR Shared Services, like elevating engagement, curating our top talent, or master of ceremonies for the best all-hands meetings … ever.
    • Bring together dream teams from different corners of our realm, set those team project sails, and make sure we hit the jackpot within deadlines and budgets.
  4. Rockstar Reporting:
    • Woo the audience by engaging with our internal gang, keeping them in the loop with killer reports on vendor gigs, budget hits, team operational performance concerts, and special project vibes.

Essentials for Success:

  • A degree in HR, Business, or a related field. Bonus points for a master’s degree or cool certifications. Amazing skills are better than anything you paid pay tuition for.
  • A few years of throwing the best vendor parties, managing budgets like a champ, and leading awesome projects within HR.
  • Show us your A-game in handling vendors, negotiating deals, and making sure they’re rocking our HR world.
  • Proven record of being a budget master, spotting savings, and shaking hands with the finance gods.
  • You’ve led the charge on special projects before and made them legends.
  • Your communication skills are top-notch, and you’re a master at winning hearts and minds.
  • You’ve got an eye for data and can spin it into reports that make everyone’s jaws drop.
  • A wizard with project management tools and tricks.
