Position Overview

Benefit Integration Implementation Analysts are responsible for setting up electronic eligibility and COBRA files between Paylocity’s benefit systems, internal partners, and third party vendors. Analysts will utilize project management and technical skills to create and send files, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders from project initiation to ensure successful project delivery. The Analyst I is an entry level position.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze third party vendor business requirements
  • Coordinate project activities and tasks with clients and third party vendors
  • Configuring files using web based tools and Microsoft Biz-Talk
  • Work primarily on EDI files from a master template list
  • Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to research, troubleshoot and resolve EDI setup issues
  • Participate in project planning and status meetings to ensure project goals and deadlines are met
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners and clients on data reviews, testing, project status and schedule production delivery upon completion
  • Research file transmissions and benefit data to respond to inquiries from internal/external partners and clients

Requirements

  • Experience in technical/problem solving role, including at least 1 year in a project management, business analyst, data analyst or customer facing role.
  • Specification, creation and testing of transformation programs and 834 files is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of EDI data mapping and transformation, as well as data communication protocols such as SFTP and FTP.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneNote)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver projects on time.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Strong technical aptitude – understanding SQL-based logic is a bonus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

This role can be performed from any office in the US. The pay range for this position is $42,400 – $78,700/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position offers a full range of benefits outlined here.
