  • Select appropriate research methods tailored to project goals and timelines, ensuring a balanced approach between qualitative insights and quantitative validation.

Conducting Research:

  • Lead user interviews, walkthroughs, and usability tests to gather qualitative insights into user experiences and pain points.
  • Design and administer quantitative research to measure user behaviors and preferences, ensuring a thorough understanding of user needs.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative data to validate and enhance qualitative findings.

Synthesize Research Findings:

  • Combine qualitative and quantitative data to generate actionable insights and recommendations for product enhancements.
  • Present research findings clearly, articulating how both qualitative and quantitative data inform product decisions.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Communicate insights through well-structured reports, data visualizations, and presentations, ensuring clarity and accessibility for stakeholders.
  • Create design artifacts (user flows, personas, journey maps) in tools like Figma, integrating both qualitative insights and quantitative metrics.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers at Eventbrite to ensure research insights are effectively integrated into product design and strategy.
  • Serve as a go-to resource for stakeholders, guiding them in interpreting research findings to align user needs with business objectives.

Required Skills:

  • Mixed Methods Expertise: Proficient in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, capable of integrating these approaches into cohesive strategies.
  • Data Synthesis: Strong ability to synthesize diverse data into clear, actionable insights that drive product decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying research findings.
  • Recruitment and Management: Experience managing the research lifecycle, including participant recruitment and post-study analysis.

  • Collaboration: Proven experience working with cross-functional teams to integrate research into the product development process.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in statistical methods and data analysis tools for interpreting quantitative data.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience conducting mixed-methods UX research for digital products, particularly in consumer-facing platforms and marketplaces.
  • Strong background in presenting research findings to diverse audiences, including designers, product managers, and executives.
