Job Quality Assessor

As a Job Quality Assessor, you will be the gatekeeper of our platform’s integrity. We’ve recently launched our new Job Vacancy Legitimacy Checker initiative, and you will be at the heart of it. Your mission is to help thousands of candidates navigate their job search safely, protecting them from scams. Your sharp eye and sound judgment will be crucial in making our platform the most trusted source for remote work.

This is a critical role that requires a blend of analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility to protect our users.

What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities):

• Review & Moderate: Meticulously review and evaluate new job submissions against Jobicy’s quality guidelines, content policies, and terms of service.
• Identify & Flag: Identify and take action on fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, low-quality, or otherwise inappropriate job postings.
• Ensure Accuracy: Verify the legitimacy of companies and the authenticity of the jobs posted, conducting light research when necessary.
• Categorize & Edit: Ensure all job listings are correctly categorized, well-written, and free of errors before they go live.
• Maintain Consistency: Apply our moderation policies consistently and fairly to ensure a standard of excellence across the platform.
• Collaborate & Improve: Provide feedback to the team on trends, common issues, and potential improvements to our quality guidelines and review process.
• Stay Informed: Keep up-to-date with online recruitment trends and common scam tactics to stay ahead of potential threats.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications):

• Exceptional Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for inconsistencies and can spot things that others might miss.
• Strong Judgment: You can make sound, objective decisions based on a set of guidelines and your own analytical skills.
• Excellent English Skills: You possess outstanding written communication and comprehension skills.
• Tech-Savvy: You are comfortable and efficient in navigating various online tools, websites, and communication platforms.
• Highly Self-Motivated: As this is a remote role, you must be disciplined, reliable, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Integrity and Discretion: You understand the importance of handling information with integrity and have a strong ethical compass.
• Curiosity: You have a natural curiosity and a desire to investigate when something doesn’t seem right.

Bonus Points (Preferred, but not required):

• Previous experience in content moderation, trust and safety, compliance, quality assurance, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with the recruitment industry, HR practices, or online job platforms.
• Proficiency in other languages.
