Position: End User Compute Engineer Intern
Duration: August 11, 2025 – May 2026
Part time, working 15 – 29 hours/week
Remote, based in Eastern Time Zone
Wage: $14/hour
The company is currently not authorized to support remote work employees in the following locations: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Delaware, Idaho, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, Utah, Wyoming.
The student internship program accepts international students with up-to-date work authorization for off-campus employment.
Key Responsibilities:
Install software and hardware on laptops in remote work environment.
Work under general supervision to provide user support, technical assistance, and general computer problem analysis and resolution.
Responsible for maintaining laptop systems, troubleshooting internal system errors, running remote diagnostics.
Re -imaging computer hardware
Create user IDs and accounts
Tools intern will use: Zoom, Oracle, JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Outlook email and calendar daily management.
Qualifications:
1 year commitment preferred
Must have physical space to securely store several company laptops (One storage tote)
Experience building a PC and familiarity with hardware
Experience with Windows 10
Azure AD experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Enjoy learning in a fast paced environment
Be legally eligible to work in the US and off-campus.
Pass a criminal background check.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with digital tools like Zoom, JIRA, Confluence, HubSpot CRM, Microsoft Outlook, and Teams.
