As Revecoreβs VP, Offshore Operations, you will:Β
Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all aspects of Revecoreβs offshore operations. This senior leadership role ensures the efficient, compliant, high-quality delivery of offshore services, meeting or exceeding client/onshore stakeholder expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs). The VP will drive process optimization, leverage technology, manage a large and diverse team, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within offshore operations.
The Role:
- Strategic Leadership & Planning:
- Develop and execute the strategic vision for offshore operations in alignment with overall company goals and client/onshore requirements.
- Establish departmental goals, objectives, and KPIs that align with internal goals and support the strategic plan.
- Continuously evaluate and refine offshore strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve financial outcomes.
- Stay abreast of US healthcare regulations, payer policies, and RCM best practices to ensure proactive adaptation.
- Operational Management & Oversight:
- Direct and oversee all offshore vendor partner relationships.
- Ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and client-specific requirements.
- Implement and monitor robust quality assurance and audit programs to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to drive process improvement initiatives to optimize workflows, reduce errors, and enhance productivity.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop an offshore team of managers, supervisors, and staff.
- Foster a positive, high-performance, and collaborative work environment.
- Implement effective training programs to ensure staff competency and continuous professional development.
- Oversee performance management, including goal setting, regular feedback, and performance reviews.
- Champion talent acquisition and retention strategies for the offshore team.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Collaborate with Operations leadership to establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Days in A/R, Claim Billing Rate, Denial Rate, Cash Collection Rate, and staff productivity.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior onshore leadership.
- Client / Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as a key point of contact for onshore leadership regarding offshore performance and forecasted staffing needs.
- Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively communicate performance, challenges, and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all offshore operations comply with relevant regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FDCPA, payer-specific rules for the US market).
- Collaborate with Revecoreβs Security Team to implement and maintain robust data security and privacy protocols, internal audits, and corrective action plans.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage the departmental budget for offshore operations.
- Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or compliance.
Youβll be successful if you have:Β
- Education:Bachelorβs degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Masterβs degree (MBA, MHA) preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in healthcare offshore management.
- Minimum 7+ years in a senior leadership role (Director level or above) managing large offshore teams and/or vendors.
- Crucially, minimum 5+ years of direct experience managing offshore RCM operations serving US healthcare providers/clients.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the end-to-end US healthcare revenue cycle.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and scaling offshore operations.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and manage remote teams effectively.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal), presentation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English.
- Proficiency in RCM software, EMR/EHR systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and achieve significant operational efficiencies.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA and other relevant healthcare compliance requirements.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management.
It would be great if you also have:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CRCR, CHFP, CPC).
- Experience with specific RCM platforms (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks).
- Proven ability to manage cross-cultural teams and navigate time-zone differences effectively.
- Strategic thinker with a strong operational execution focus.
