Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Reporting to the Product Director of Assisted Self-service within the Customer Care & Communications (C3) team, the Product Owner will focus on advancing our AI capabilities within the async messaging experience. This position involves leading the product development and coordination of enterprise conversational and generative AI, from initial concept through implementation, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

The Work Itself

  • Lead the development and launch of containment-focused enterprise chatbots, including identifying enhancements and creating business cases for improvements.
  • Ensure optimal customer experiences across various personas.
  • Gather, document, and refine business requirements, system specifications, analytics needs, and conduct user acceptance testing for projects impacting the messaging chatbot channel.
  • Prioritize feature and story backlogs to optimize value for both customers and the business, forming a strategic roadmap.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and development partners to ensure the success of the chatbot strategy.
  • Support the Product Director in leading an Enterprise Connected Experience Strategy, focused on meeting customers in their preferred channel, understanding each channel’s involvement in completing a customer inquiry from digital to voice to chat/messaging, etc.
  • Measure and understand product performance, championing the Voice of the Customer.
  • Manage a team of Product Owners within the aligned Product.
  • Maintain expertise in conversational and generative AI, driving and influencing our strategic direction.
  • Partner with senior management to create product roadmaps focusing on optimization, innovation, and customer experience.
  • Develop chatbots and messaging features that delight customers, increase engagement, and drive benefits to the company.
  • Write and maintain detailed requirements, defining customer experiences and identifying necessary system and process enhancements.
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions with business partners and cross-functional teams to address competitive differentiators, usability, fulfillment, service needs, risk mitigation, and overall customer satisfaction.
  • Coach and guide direct reports, supporting employee engagement, development, growth, and performance management.
  • Lead agile scrum teams, collaborating with scrum masters, APOs, QA testers, developers, and UX designers to complete sprints and deliver feature enhancements.
  • Coordinate integrated roadmaps with other product owners to deliver capabilities and facilitate enhancement releases supporting business strategies, including beta testing.
  • Leverage data, conduct benchmarking, and stay informed on industry trends to drive insights and determine next best actions/enhancements for conversational AI products.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and legal requirements while fostering a positive and productive workplace.

The Skills You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner; in financial services or bank operations, preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in coaching and/or managing team members.
  • Proven product leadership experience at strategic and tactical levels, supporting business units in developing and executing digital product strategies.
  • Ability to leverage data to drive product enhancements and respond to feedback.
  • Experience collaborating with design and content teams to meet product objectives.
  • Proven ability to drive change and consensus across organizations, comfortable leading through influence.
  • Experience in agile/scrum product development lifecycle and Jira (or similar systems) required.
  • Highly effective communicator, capable of presenting to senior executives and business partners.
  • Well-organized and thorough approach, able to balance multiple requests and competing priorities.
  • Highly adaptable, experienced in dynamic, fast-paced, cross-functional environments

Base Pay Range

: $110000 – $180000 USDAn individual’s position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer. Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
