Welcome to Glow25!

We are a dynamic, fast-growing Beauty & Pro-Aging company based in Berlin – with a heartfelt mission: creating glow moments. For our customers, for our team, for everyone who wants to feel comfortable in their skin and let their inner beauty shine.

For us, work is more than just productivity – it should inspire, excite, and bring joy. And this is where you come in! We are growing fast and are looking for smart, empathetic people who are eager to build something special with us.

Join Glow25 and become part of a vision that redefines beauty. We can’t wait to meet you!

These are our current challenges and future goals:

We’re looking for a full-stack developer with proven experience in the e-commerce sector β€” if that’s you, let’s talk!

If you are a skilled and motivated Node.js / React Engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems and takes pride in writing clean, maintainable code. In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping our customer-facing experiences and internal tools. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers in a supportive environment where open communication, trust, and continuous learning are valued.

We’re not just looking for someone who can write codeβ€”we’re looking for a thoughtful engineer who wants to understand the β€œwhy” behind the work, contribute ideas, and help the team thrive.

This is where we need your support:

  • Backend Development: You design, develop, and maintain robust backend services using Node.js, Express, and TypeScript. You focus on building scalable and maintainable systems that power core application functionality.
  • Frontend and User Experience: You create engaging and responsive user interfaces with React. You collaborate closely with design and product teams to ensure that the user experience is intuitive, accessible, and aligned with business goals.
  • Data Management and Integration: You work with relational databases like SQL and MySQL to ensure data integrity, performance, and scalability. You also integrate with third-party platforms and services using GraphQL and REST APIs, enabling seamless connectivity and functionality.
  • Collaboration and Code Quality: You actively contribute to team discussions, code reviews, and documentation. You help define and implement best practices, support knowledge sharing, and ensure that solutions are reliable, testable, and easy to maintain.
  • Platform and Ecosystem Development: You expand your expertise by working on Shopify-based projects, including the use of Liquid templating. You contribute to custom feature development and adapt solutions to platform-specific requirements.

You have the following experience:

  • Full-Stack Proficiency: You bring strong experience in building modern web applications using Node.js and React, with solid knowledge of Express and TypeScript to develop scalable and maintainable systems.
  • Database and API Skills: You are comfortable working with relational databases like SQL and MySQL, and understand how to design and consume GraphQL and REST APIs effectively.
  • Platform Familiarity: You have a growing familiarity with Shopify development, including Liquid templating, and demonstrate curiosity and initiative in learning new technologies and ecosystems.
  • Code Quality and Best Practices: You focus on writing clean, well-structured, and well-tested code. You prioritize maintainability and reliability in everything you build.
  • Collaboration and Communication: You work well in team environments, communicate clearly, and contribute to a healthy engineering culture by asking thoughtful questions, sharing ideas, and offering and receiving feedback openly.

That’s something you can look forward to:

  • Flexible working hours and time tracking.
  • Unlimited access to the latest courses on tech, business, leadership, and mental/physical well-being through your Udemy account.
  • Top-notch equipment rented through Grover and conveniently delivered to your home.
  • A generous 40% discount on our entire range in the shop.
  • 30 days of vacation + the option to take up to 10 days of unpaid leave – because sometimes you just need a little break.
  • Company health insurance that covers additional services worth up to €600 per year (e.g., vision aids, dental cleanings, etc.).
  • Glow Card: With your prepaid credit card, you can shop at selected providers in your area. Each month, you’ll receive €50, giving you an annual bonus of €600!
  • After passing your probation period, we offer a company pension plan with an annual contribution of at least €600. And here’s the best part: if you contribute to the plan yourself, we’ll add an extra 20% on top.

Yay! You’ve made it this far!

But there’s one more thing we want to say: Don’t hesitate! Especially if you’re a woman, or from an underrepresented group. Even if you don’t check every box, we want to encourage you to apply anyway. We believe that a diverse range of perspectives and experiences makes a team stronger – and the stronger our team is, the better we can fulfil our mission of helping people bring more energy into their daily lives.
