Customer Success Ad Tech Programmatic Advertising DSP SSP Campaign Management Partner Relationship Management Data-Driven Salesforce Revenue Growth

Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to express my enthusiastic interest in the Customer Success Manager position at Screenverse. With over 4 years of experience in programmatic advertising and a proven track record of managing agency relationships, I am confident in my ability to drive client value and optimize campaign performance. My expertise includes overseeing deal setup across DSPs like The Trade Desk and Vistar, troubleshooting technical issues, and delivering actionable insights that have consistently improved ROI for partners.

I am particularly drawn to Screenverse's mission as the world's largest digital screen network. I thrive in fast-paced environments and excel at balancing multiple priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. In my previous role, I successfully upsold new programmatic solutions to existing clients, resulting in a 20% increase in quarterly revenue. I am eager to bring my collaborative approach and data-driven mindset to your team.

Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of contributing to Screenverse's growth and would welcome the opportunity to discuss how my skills align with your needs.

Sincerely,
[Your Name]

How do you prioritize and manage multiple client accounts and campaigns simultaneously?
I use a combination of project management tools like Salesforce and Asana to track tasks and deadlines. I categorize accounts by urgency and potential impact, and I set aside time each morning to review performance metrics and address any critical issues. Regular communication with clients helps me anticipate needs and adjust priorities as needed.
Describe a time when you identified a technical issue during a campaign and how you resolved it.
In a previous role, a client's DSP wasn't tracking conversions correctly. I worked with our engineering team to identify a mismatch in the pixel implementation. I coordinated with the client and DSP support to fix the tag, and we re-ran the affected period with a make-good. The client appreciated the swift resolution and we maintained a strong relationship.
How do you approach upselling or cross-selling to existing clients without being pushy?
I focus on understanding the client's goals and pain points first. After delivering consistent results, I share insights on new programmatic solutions that could further their objectives. For example, after optimizing a client's DOOH campaign for foot traffic, I suggested an audience extension product that increased their reach by 30%. I present data-driven recommendations as a value-add rather than a sales pitch.
What experience do you have with programmatic platforms like The Trade Desk or Vistar?
I have hands-on experience with The Trade Desk, Vistar, and Place Exchange. I have set up PMPs, executed programmatic guaranteed deals, and monitored pacing. At my last job, I managed over $2M in quarterly spend across these platforms, optimizing for KPIs like viewability and audience reach.
How do you handle a situation where a client is dissatisfied with campaign performance?
I first listen actively to understand their concerns. Then I analyze the data to identify root causes—whether it's targeting, creative, or external factors. I present a transparent action plan, including optimizations like adjusting bidding strategies or refreshing creatives. I also suggest a make-good if warranted. Maintaining open communication and showing accountability helps rebuild trust.
