As Engineering Senior Specialist – Customer Application Engineering, with Reciprocating Compressor Application, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the preparation and management of technical proposal relevant to Reciprocating Compressor applications with a critical approach to maximize value proposition for Customer.
- Leading the definition of the technical strategy of the project thus influencing Customer towards Baker Hughes solutions.
- Taking care of the estimation/accuracy of the budget associated with the proposed solution.
- Preparing, within the required timeline, the most compelling technical proposal at first submission.
- Applying product and quality policies, addressing, and mitigating any residual risk as per Baker Hughes procedures.
- Leading the technical negotiation, coordinating with supporting functions and attending to meeting/presentation with Customer.
- Handing over the technical contract to execution team in case of award in the smoothest way achievable.

To be successful in this role, you will
- Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have experience in Engineering, Application Engineering, Product management, Customer Service, or equivalent technical role for at least 5 years.
- Be fluent in English (spoken and written) with good communication skills.
- Have a willingness to work on stretched deadlines with flexible time management.
- Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously with solid time management.
- Be available to travel at short notice.
- Effective problem identification and solution skills.
- Capability to work in team and ability to take decisions independently.
- Be very open to work in multicultural teams and be open-minded.

The initial pay range for this position will be EUR 51,200 To 70,400. The provisions of Contratto Collettivo Industria Metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti will be applied to this position. Section VI – Titolo IV of that collective bargaining agreement relates to pay.
