Dear Hiring Team,

I am writing to express my interest in the Manager, Ad Operations position at StackAdapt. With over 6 years of experience in programmatic advertising and a proven track record of leading high-performing teams, I am excited about the opportunity to drive operational excellence and innovation at a leading ad tech company. My expertise in campaign optimization, workflow automation, and cross-functional collaboration aligns perfectly with the requirements of this role. I am eager to bring my leadership skills and technical knowledge to help StackAdapt continue to scale its Ad Operations team. Thank you for considering my application.

Can you describe your experience managing a team of ad operations specialists?
I have managed a team of 5 ad operations specialists for the past 3 years, focusing on campaign execution, QA, and optimization. I held weekly one-on-ones, provided coaching on troubleshooting and pacing, and implemented new SOPs that reduced errors by 20%.
How do you approach optimizing programmatic campaigns for performance?
I start by analyzing pacing, audience delivery, and conversion data. I look for underperforming segments and adjust bidding strategies, creative rotation, and frequency caps. I also run A/B tests and use automation rules to improve ROAS.
What strategies do you use to identify and implement process improvements?
I regularly review team workflows and operational metrics to spot bottlenecks. I gather feedback from team members and cross-functional partners. I then prototype solutions like automation scripts or new templates, pilot them, and roll out after validation.
How do you handle cross-functional collaboration with product and engineering teams?
I establish clear communication channels and regular syncs. I prioritize feature requests by impact and feasibility, and provide detailed documentation. I also invite product/engineering to team meetings to understand campaign pain points.
How do you stay updated with changes in the programmatic advertising ecosystem?
I subscribe to industry newsletters, attend webinars, and participate in forums like AdExchanger. I also encourage my team to share learnings and conduct quarterly reviews of new DSP features and market trends.
