Sample interview questions
I start by segmenting partners by revenue potential, adoption maturity, risk, and strategic fit. For each priority account, I establish shared goals, baseline KPIs, an executive engagement cadence, and a documented action plan; I then review results regularly and adjust initiatives based on performance data.
I would combine usage, conversion, service, and revenue data to identify where performance is declining or opportunity is concentrated. After validating the root cause with the partner and internal teams, I would present a concise recommendation, assign owners and timelines, and measure the effect against an agreed baseline.
I address the concern directly, acknowledge the business impact, and clarify the facts before proposing solutions. I create a recovery plan with measurable milestones, communicate progress transparently, and bring in the appropriate internal leaders early so the partner sees clear accountability.
I would define the partner objective, required outcomes, ownership, dependencies, and decision deadlines in a shared plan. Regular working sessions and a concise performance dashboard keep teams aligned, while escalation paths ensure blockers are resolved quickly.
I would track revenue growth, policy or product adoption, conversion rates, partner engagement, retention, service quality, implementation progress, and pipeline health. The specific scorecard should be tailored to each partner's business model while maintaining a consistent executive-level view across the portfolio.
