Sample interview questions
How do you build and prioritize a prospecting pipeline for an SMB territory?

I segment accounts by fit, potential value, urgency indicators, and likelihood of adoption. I create focused outreach sequences across phone, email, and social channels, then review conversion data weekly to concentrate time on segments and messages producing qualified meetings and opportunities.

Describe how you manage a full sales cycle from discovery through close.

I begin by confirming qualification criteria and understanding the buyer's operational challenges, desired outcomes, stakeholders, and decision process. I align the product value to those needs, establish clear next steps after every interaction, address risks early, and use a mutual action plan to maintain momentum through contracting and close.

How would you approach learning the dental-practice market quickly?

I would combine product training with structured customer research, conversations with successful users, and analysis of common objections and use cases. I would document the language practitioners use, the workflows that create friction, and the measurable outcomes Dandy delivers so that my discovery and messaging become increasingly relevant.

Tell us about a time you succeeded in an ambiguous or fast-changing sales environment.

In a scaling environment, I would create structure where it is missing by defining account tiers, qualification standards, activity targets, and CRM reporting. I would share insights from customer conversations with leadership, test messaging quickly, and adjust my approach based on evidence while remaining accountable for pipeline and revenue outcomes.

What does excellent Salesforce hygiene mean to you?

It means maintaining accurate account and contact data, current opportunity stages, realistic close dates, documented next steps, and clear notes on pain points, stakeholders, and risks. Strong hygiene makes forecasting more dependable, supports effective coaching, and ensures no high-value follow-up is missed.
