Sample interview questions
How would you prioritize which healthcare prediction markets to launch first?

I would rank opportunities using a repeatable framework: event clarity and resolvability, audience demand, timing, potential liquidity, regulatory relevance, and distribution potential. I would start with visible near-term catalysts such as PDUFA decisions, late-stage trial readouts, and major oncology-conference data releases, then validate demand through biotech social and community signals.

How would you build organic adoption among biotech and healthcare audiences?

I would map distinct audiences such as BioPharma Twitter, FinTwit biotech accounts, clinical-trial followers, newsletter writers, and relevant Reddit communities. I would create timely, evidence-based content around upcoming catalysts, engage credible voices, and use feedback from those communities to improve both market selection and messaging.

Describe how you would recruit and evaluate affiliates for this vertical.

I would target creators and publishers whose audiences already follow drug development, biotech investing, and health policy. Evaluation would go beyond follower count to audience relevance, credibility, engagement quality, historical conversion performance, and adherence to compliant, accurate messaging.

What metrics would you use to judge success in the first 90 days?

I would track the number and quality of healthcare markets launched, trading participation and liquidity, new verified users attributable to each channel, activation and repeat trading, cost per activated user for paid campaigns, and affiliate-driven conversion. I would pair these metrics with qualitative community feedback to identify the strongest event types and channels.

How would you communicate complex clinical-trial or FDA events to a broad user base?

I would translate each event into a clear, plain-language question while preserving precise resolution criteria and linking to authoritative sources. Supporting content would explain why the catalyst matters, key dates, relevant terminology, and major uncertainty drivers without overstating conclusions or offering investment advice.

What is Kalshi?

Kalshi has defined a new category: prediction markets. Kalshi allows people to trade on the outcome of any events and turn any question about the future into a financial asset. Kalshi fought for years and legalized prediction markets in the US for the first time in history, is currently the fastest growing financial market in America, and has thousands of markets across politics, economics, financials, weather, tech, AI, culture and more.

We believe prediction markets have the potential to be the largest financial market because they turn anything into a financial position.

  • Our vision: well… build the largest financial market on the planet.

  • Our mission: bring more truth to the world through the power of markets.

Our culture is simple: we hire really talented people, work really hard, and enjoy the climb. We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.

Role Roadmap

You have one goal: grow healthcare and medicine on Kalshi. Founder energy, whatever it takes, fast. Be smart, be creative, think outside the box, tap into the community. Above all, help build a great product.

You own healthcare holistically: markets, liquidity, growth, paid, all of it.

What You’ll Do

  • Market Coverage: Get every healthcare and medicine market that should exist onto Kalshi. FDA approval decisions, drug trial readouts (Phase 1/2/3 results), PDUFA dates, ASCO/AACR/major conference data drops, biotech binary events, pandemic and public health milestones, whatever the community is already arguing about, we should have a market on it.

  • Growth, organic: This is your main job. Get in front of BioPharma Twitter/FinTwit biotech accounts, r/biotech, r/stocks biotech threads, clinical trial trackers, the FDA-decision-day crowd, the biotech Substack and newsletter writers.

  • Growth, paid: Ideate on and help build static and video assets to run on paid social (IG, TikTok, X, Reddit).

  • Growth, affiliates: Recruit the biotech YouTubers, FinTwit/BioTwit accounts, and healthcare newsletter writers people who care about drug development and healthcare policy already trust.

Who You Are

  • Deeply obsessed with healthcare, medicine, and drug development

  • Relentless

Our Culture

Meritocracy is at our core, and we value people who take ownership and figure (usually hard) things out. We dream big. We love our craft deeply and are proud of what we put out in the world. Kalshians are Kalshi’s most important asset: we pick Kalshians carefully, so we trust them fully on day 1.
