Sample interview questions
How would you measure the success of an ANZ field marketing event beyond attendee count?

I would define success criteria before the event, including target-account attendance, meetings booked, qualified leads created, influenced pipeline, opportunity progression, and post-event engagement. I would partner with Sales and BDRs on follow-up ownership and review results at 30-, 60-, and 90-day intervals.

Describe how you would localize a global campaign for Australia and New Zealand.

I would begin by validating the target segments, regional pain points, local proof points, and channel preferences with ANZ Sales and customers. I would adapt messaging, calls to action, content examples, event formats, and timing while preserving global positioning and measuring local conversion performance.

How do you manage several campaigns and events with competing deadlines?

I use a central project plan with clear owners, milestones, dependencies, budget status, and risk flags. I prioritize work based on business impact and deadline, communicate changes early, and maintain regular stakeholder check-ins so that execution issues are resolved quickly.

What is your approach to ensuring leads from field programs receive timely follow-up?

I align with Sales and BDRs before launch on lead definitions, routing rules, follow-up service levels, and messaging. After the program, I monitor lead status and outreach activity, escalate gaps promptly, and report conversion and pipeline outcomes to improve future programs.

How would you work effectively with event and digital agencies?

I would provide a precise brief covering objectives, audiences, deliverables, timeline, brand requirements, budget, and success metrics. I would establish approval checkpoints, maintain a single source of truth for assets and logistics, and conduct a post-program review to assess quality, performance, and improvements.
