Sample interview questions
I would establish a scorecard using indicators such as sales trend, stream frequency, conversion, repeat buyers, listing quality, responsiveness, and evidence of an established off-platform business. I would segment sellers by opportunity level, validate the findings qualitatively, and prioritize outreach to accounts where targeted support is most likely to produce measurable growth.
I would start with a structured onboarding plan covering platform mechanics, merchandising, live-stream preparation, promotion, and success metrics. I would set a touchpoint cadence, review performance after early streams, identify one or two high-impact improvements, and document actions and outcomes so support can become repeatable at scale.
I would use segmentation, CRM/task-management workflows, standardized outreach templates, and clear service-level priorities. High-potential or at-risk sellers would receive tailored support, while common needs would be addressed through scalable playbooks, office hours, educational resources, and automated reminders.
I would explain the business objective, the metrics reviewed, the insight identified, and the action taken. For example, if engagement data showed that sellers with inconsistent stream schedules had lower repeat-buyer activity, I would help them establish a predictable cadence, track results over several weeks, and refine the approach based on retention and sales performance.
I would first understand their goals, capacity, and concerns, then present a clear value proposition supported by their own results and relevant platform opportunities. I would recommend a low-risk growth experiment, such as a focused launch schedule or incentive-backed campaign, define success metrics in advance, and use the results to build confidence in expanding their investment.
