Sample interview questions
I would begin by defining the target account profile and the business outcome, such as meeting conversion or pipeline creation. I would unify CRM, engagement, firmographic, intent, and product or conversation signals; establish data-quality checks; and create a transparent scoring framework combining rules and model-based signals. I would deliver recommendations directly in existing seller workflows, then continuously evaluate lift against a control group and recalibrate based on conversion outcomes.
I would map the current workflow, identify repetitive research and data-entry steps, and define structured outputs such as account summaries, stakeholder maps, and discovery briefs. Integrations would retrieve data from approved sources, while LLM outputs would use templates, citations, confidence thresholds, and human review for high-impact updates. I would log every action, support rollback, monitor error rates, and measure time saved and seller adoption.
I would establish a clear event-driven architecture with normalized account, contact, opportunity, and activity entities. Secure connectors would use least-privilege access, secrets management, rate-limit handling, retries, idempotency, and audit logging. The AI layer would use validated context from these systems, invoke narrowly scoped tools, and return outputs into Salesforce or Slack with links to source evidence.
I would define success metrics before launch, including time-to-complete, data completeness, seller adoption, response speed, meeting conversion, pipeline progression, and revenue influence. Where possible, I would compare results with a baseline or controlled rollout rather than relying on anecdotal feedback. I would also monitor operational quality metrics, including automation failures, hallucination rate, override rate, and user satisfaction.
I would clarify the decision or business outcome the request is intended to support, the users involved, available data, and the deadline. I would propose a narrow first version that can be deployed quickly, clearly identify assumptions and risks, and provide a timeline for iterative improvements. Throughout delivery, I would communicate progress in business terms and use early user feedback to ensure the solution solves the actual problem.
