The role, at a glance.
LevelUp is hiring a remote Order Processing Tech Support Specialist to provide first-line support to sales users experiencing Salesforce order-processing issues. The specialist will document fixes, correctly categorize tickets, maintain knowledge-base content, and escalate reproducible issues when necessary. Strong Salesforce Sales Cloud knowledge, real-time technical support experience, clear English communication, and careful troubleshooting are central to success. NetSuite, SQL or BigQuery, Jira, and B2B SaaS or hosting experience are advantageous.

Sample interview questions
I would first collect the order or opportunity ID, error message, affected user details, and recent actions. I would review required fields, validation rules, product or quote selections, status transitions, and any relevant integrations; then reproduce the issue where possible, provide a documented fix, or escalate with clear evidence and steps to reproduce.
I translate the error into the business action required, avoiding technical jargon. For example, I would explain which field needs correction, why it is required for the order to proceed, provide a short step-by-step resolution, and confirm the user can continue after making the update.
An effective escalation includes record IDs, the user impact and urgency, exact error text, screenshots or logs where permitted, steps to reproduce, expected versus actual behavior, fields and configurations already reviewed, and any temporary workaround. This minimizes back-and-forth and helps the next team investigate quickly.
I acknowledge requests promptly, assess their business impact, and prioritize blocked or time-sensitive orders first. I keep users updated on progress, use ticket statuses and tags consistently, and document resolutions so duplicate requests and recurring problems can be handled faster.
These tools can help validate whether order data is complete, identify patterns across failed orders, and reconcile Salesforce information with downstream ERP records. I would use data findings to distinguish user-entry errors from system or integration issues and to identify recurring process improvements.
