Sample interview questions
I would begin by aligning with leadership on business impact, hiring dependencies, and the cost of leaving each role open. I would translate that into a clear hiring plan with weekly funnel reviews, while setting realistic service levels and proactively communicating trade-offs to hiring managers.
I would map target companies, research institutions, adjacent domains, publications, and relevant professional communities. I would combine this market map with personalized outreach, employee referrals, event or community engagement, and AI-enabled research tools, then measure response and conversion rates to refine the approach.
It starts with a written role scorecard that defines outcomes, must-have competencies, and evidence standards. I would assign focused interview areas, use consistent questions and debrief criteria, train interviewers on expectations, and review candidate-feedback data to improve signal quality and speed.
I would inspect the funnel by source, role, stage, and candidate segment, then collect direct feedback from candidates and hiring teams. Likely actions could include strengthening role messaging, improving interview consistency and speed, calibrating compensation expectations early, and ensuring the closing plan reflects each finalist's motivations.
I use automation for repeatable administrative work such as initial research, scheduling workflows, pipeline hygiene, and reporting. For candidate-facing communication, I retain human review and personalization, especially for senior or specialized talent, so outreach remains accurate, relevant, and respectful.
About this role.
About Ataraxis AI
Ataraxis is a clinical AI research lab working at the intersection of multi-modal AI and precision medicine. Our goal is to make disease predictable. To accomplish this, we develop new AI methods that predict patient outcomes and treatment response, and build clinical tools to assist physicians in selecting the most optimal treatments for their patients.
Our AI research lab discovers and develops methods to recognize patterns and predict outcomes across complex, multi-modal clinical data. This spans our causality (Ataraxis™ Tau), foundation model (Falcon and Kestrel for digital pathology), and survival analysis research.
Our first clinical products, such as Ataraxis™ Breast for breast cancer, already help patients get the most appropriate treatment across the best academic institutions and community clinics worldwide.
At Ataraxis, you will have a unique opportunity to shape not only the future of our company, but also the future of healthcare. You will join an exceptional team at the forefront of clinical AI research and deployment.
