Sample interview questions
I map each MEDDPICC element early, validate metrics and the economic buyer through discovery, identify decision criteria and process, and document pain, champion strength, and competition in the CRM. I use the resulting gaps to create a mutual action plan and avoid forecasting deals that lack validated buying conditions.
I start by defining the ideal customer profile, segmenting accounts by fit and trigger events, and researching relevant stakeholders and business priorities. I combine tailored outbound messaging, coordinated SDR activity, referrals, and marketing engagement, then measure conversion at each funnel stage to refine the approach.
I connect the customer’s stated pain to measurable operational or financial impact, confirm assumptions with stakeholders, and present a clear before-and-after business case. The presentation is tailored to each buying role while maintaining a shared narrative around outcomes, implementation confidence, and return on investment.
I prioritize opportunities using qualification quality, expected impact, deal stage, stakeholder engagement, and next-step clarity. I keep each opportunity moving through scheduled mutual actions, maintain CRM hygiene, and reallocate time quickly when deal risk or buyer urgency changes.
I would align on ICP definitions, account coverage, messaging, and feedback from discovery calls with SDRs and marketing. For closed business, I would provide customer success with documented goals, stakeholders, commitments, and success metrics to ensure a strong handoff and create a foundation for expansion.
