Sample interview questions
I would establish a project plan for each account with clear milestones, owners, dependencies, and client approval dates. I would prioritize work by launch impact and risk, keep task records current, and proactively communicate blockers to both customers and internal stakeholders.
I would first clarify the property's target guests, brand voice, booking goals, visual assets, and required pages. I would then create a consistent visual hierarchy using the approved colors, typography, imagery, and calls to action, while ensuring the design supports a simple reservation journey.
I would collect precise details such as the page URL, device, browser, screenshots, steps to reproduce, and the expected versus actual behavior. I would test systematically, check recent changes, document findings, communicate a realistic update timeline, and escalate with complete context when needed.
They help me understand page structure, diagnose layout and styling problems, make safe adjustments when supported, and communicate more effectively with technical teams. They also allow me to evaluate whether a design is practical, responsive, and maintainable.
I would acknowledge the impact of the delay, listen carefully, and explain the current status without being defensive. I would identify the remaining actions, assign clear ownership and dates, provide regular updates, and work with internal teams to remove the highest-priority blockers.
