Sample interview questions
I would explain the customer's business problem, quantify its operational or financial impact, align the solution to measurable outcomes, and show how I coordinated discovery, demonstrations, stakeholder alignment, and commercial negotiation through signature.
I prioritize target accounts using fit and intent signals, map relevant stakeholders, develop personalized outreach tied to a business hypothesis, and use referrals, events, and my network to create additional entry points. I track conversion by channel and adjust messaging based on results.
I would run a multi-threaded discovery process to understand each group's goals and concerns. I would tailor the business case around spend control and efficiency for finance, governance for legal, implementation and integrations for IT, and adoption and process improvement for procurement.
I confirm the prospect's priority use cases during discovery, set an agenda around those outcomes, and show only the workflows that address their pain points. I engage participants with questions, summarize value throughout, and finish with agreed next steps and evaluation criteria.
I maintain accurate CRM records, define clear next steps and close plans for each opportunity, and review pipeline health weekly. I time-block prospecting, preparation, and follow-up while using stage-based criteria to focus effort on the highest-impact deals.
