Sample interview questions
I would first assess the partner’s cloud, security, and customer-focus maturity, then establish an enablement plan with product fundamentals, hands-on labs, and solution-specific workshops. I would provide reusable demos, reference architectures, discovery questions, and a joint account-engagement cadence, measuring progress through certifications, pipeline creation, and successful customer delivery.
I would map the current build, registry, CI/CD, deployment, and runtime controls, then identify where hardened images and policy checks provide the greatest risk reduction. The design would include approved base images, automated image consumption in CI, provenance and vulnerability visibility, deployment guardrails, and operational documentation so platform and application teams can adopt the workflow consistently.
I start with the business impact: production risk, remediation cost, compliance exposure, and delivery speed. I then present a concise target-state architecture, evidence of risk reduction, implementation phases, ownership, and measurable outcomes, while keeping technical detail available for engineering audiences.
I would establish shared customer outcomes, clarify each team’s responsibilities, and create a lightweight plan covering architecture, partner deliverables, product dependencies, sales milestones, and executive checkpoints. Regular reviews and transparent tracking help resolve blockers early and ensure the joint offering is both technically viable and commercially repeatable.
I would prioritize based on strategic fit, revenue and adoption potential, technical readiness, customer urgency, scalability of the resulting assets, and executive sponsorship. For lower-priority requests, I would use reusable self-service content, group enablement sessions, or clear timelines rather than allowing ad hoc work to displace high-impact initiatives.
