Sample interview questions
How have you identified and closed an expansion opportunity within an existing mid-market account?

I begin by reviewing adoption data, business objectives, stakeholder feedback, and operational gaps. I validate the opportunity through discovery, quantify the expected value, align decision-makers around a tailored business case, and maintain a mutual action plan through close.

How would you manage a portfolio that includes renewals, customer requests, demos, and expansion opportunities at the same time?

I segment accounts by renewal risk, growth potential, strategic value, and urgency. I use CRM tasks, account plans, and recurring pipeline reviews to prioritize next actions, while documenting every customer interaction so commitments and follow-ups do not slip.

What makes an effective quarterly business review for a LATAM customer?

An effective QBR connects platform usage and outcomes to the customer's business goals. I would deliver it in Spanish when appropriate, share relevant performance insights, recognize achieved value, address risks directly, and agree on measurable next steps for adoption and growth.

How do you create an accurate expansion forecast?

I use clear stage definitions, confirm decision process and timing with stakeholders, evaluate deal risks, and update opportunity data immediately after meaningful customer interactions. I separate committed, likely, and early-stage opportunities so the forecast reflects evidence rather than optimism.

Describe how you approach a complex deal with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

I map the buying committee to understand each stakeholder's influence, priorities, and concerns. Then I tailor the value narrative to each group, establish a shared success criteria, and coordinate a structured evaluation process that keeps the account moving toward a decision.
