Sample interview questions
How do you structure a program plan for a service-operations initiative with multiple teams?

I begin by defining the desired business outcome, scope, success metrics, owners, milestones, dependencies, and risks. I then create a detailed work plan in a shared tool, establish a regular governance cadence, and use concise status reporting to keep decisions and accountability visible.

Describe how you would manage a dependency that threatens a critical launch date.

I would document the dependency, assess its impact and likelihood, and meet promptly with the owning team to confirm options and timing. I would present trade-offs to stakeholders, activate a contingency plan where possible, and maintain clear communication until the risk is resolved or the plan is formally adjusted.

How do you keep diverse stakeholders aligned when priorities change?

I connect changes to program goals, customer impact, capacity, and delivery risk rather than treating them as isolated requests. I communicate the recommended path, decision needed, consequences of each option, and updated timeline so leaders can make timely, informed choices.

What metrics would you use to evaluate a service-operations program?

I would select metrics tied to the specific objective, such as service-level attainment, resolution time, quality scores, customer satisfaction, adoption of new tools or processes, cost efficiency, and operational error rates. I would establish baselines before implementation and review leading and lagging indicators after launch.

How have you adapted project management practices in a fast-paced environment?

I use lightweight but disciplined planning: clear ownership, a prioritized backlog, short feedback cycles, visible risks, and decision logs. This provides enough structure to manage execution while allowing the team to respond quickly as requirements, data, or operational conditions evolve.
