Sample interview questions
I would begin with discovery sessions to map content sources, users, translation triggers, approval paths, security requirements, and failure points. I would then define an integration architecture using supported APIs or connectors, document data flows and ownership, validate it through a pilot, and create monitoring and operational guidance before scaling the rollout.
I would first collect timestamps, request identifiers, error responses, payload samples, and recent deployment changes. I would isolate whether the issue is caused by authentication, rate limits, network behavior, payload validation, or an upstream dependency, then reproduce it safely where possible and communicate clear findings, mitigation steps, and a permanent fix.
I connect the technical choice to business outcomes such as delivery speed, operational risk, cost, and scalability. I avoid unnecessary jargon, present a small number of viable options with recommendations, and confirm that stakeholders understand the impact on timeline, maintenance, and customer experience.
I prioritize documented architecture, clear ownership, reusable configuration, observability, error handling, and training for administrators and technical teams. I also define success metrics, establish an escalation process, and conduct a post-launch review to identify improvements and adoption risks.
I use scripts to automate repetitive validation, transform content or metadata, test API calls, and generate implementation reports. Familiarity with HTTP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS also helps me diagnose browser-based behavior and collaborate effectively with customer engineering teams.
