The role, at a glance.
Nebius is seeking a senior technical product manager to own a core stream of its Token Factory AI inference platform. The role covers strategy, roadmap definition, launch and adoption for capabilities spanning public APIs, routing, performance, reliability and enterprise enablement. It requires deep practical understanding of model serving, distributed systems and production AI infrastructure, alongside strong B2B product judgment. The PM will work closely with engineering, research, sales, support and enterprise customers to turn market and customer signals into scalable product bets. This is a high-ownership role in a rapidly evolving AI infrastructure market.

Sample interview questions
I would first segment workloads and customers by their service-level needs, business value, and current pain points. I would establish measurable targets such as p99 latency, tokens per second, availability, and cost per million tokens, then prioritize initiatives with the strongest customer and economic impact. The roadmap would make explicit trade-offs and include guardrails so performance gains do not compromise reliability or unit economics.
I would assess model adoption, hardware requirements, serving characteristics, customer demand, and the expected economics of supporting it. I would validate the opportunity through customer interviews and a limited proof of concept with engineering, defining success metrics for quality, performance, and operational cost. If validated, I would translate the findings into a staged launch plan covering API design, capacity, observability, documentation, and enterprise readiness.
It should clearly state the customer problem, target users, desired outcomes, non-goals, and measurable success criteria. For a platform feature, I would also document API behavior, reliability and performance expectations, security considerations, operational dependencies, rollout strategy, and migration implications. Open questions and key technical trade-offs should be explicit so engineering and stakeholders can make decisions efficiently.
I would make each request comparable by connecting it to customer impact, strategic fit, revenue potential, technical effort, risk, and opportunity cost. I would communicate a transparent prioritization framework and distinguish committed roadmap work from exploratory requests. Where a request is important but not broadly scalable, I would look for a constrained solution such as a PoC, configuration, or time-boxed experiment.
I would use a balanced scorecard across adoption, experience, reliability, performance, and economics. Core measures could include active customers, inference volume, time to first successful deployment, p50 and p99 latency, throughput, error rate, availability, cost per token, and gross-margin contribution. For enterprise capabilities, I would additionally track PoC conversion, retention, expansion, and support-ticket trends.
About this role.
About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The role
We’re building Nebius Token Factory, an AI inference platform for high-performance, cost-efficient workloads at scale, serving both developers and managed enterprise customers. As a Senior/Principal Product Manager, Inference Platform, you’ll join a team of PMs under the Inference Platform lead and own a core platform stream end to end, from strategy and roadmap to launch and adoption. The scope evolves quickly with the market (new models, modalities, hardware and customer needs), with a strong emphasis on scalability and reliability.
Your responsibilities will include:
Own the roadmap and outcomes for a part of the inference platform, aligning several cross-functional engineering teams across public API, routing, performance, reliability and enterprise enablement features.
Work with engineering and research to make inference more scalable, reliable and cost-efficient, and turn that into capabilities customers can depend on.
Stay close to customers through research, interviews and hands-on PoCs, especially in managed enterprise.
Track the market: open-source models, inference economics, and how businesses actually apply AI. Turn what you see into product bets.
We expect you to have:
Experience shipping technical platform products, with the seniority to lead work across multiple engineering teams.
Real technical depth in how AI inference works, including model serving, distributed systems and production infrastructure. You think problems through yourself rather than relying on engineers to define them.
Strong communication and expectations management across engineering, research, sales, support and leadership. You write crisp PRDs, RFCs and release notes.
B2B/enterprise experience with technical buyers.
Comfort with ambiguity and shifting scope.
Benefits & Perks:
- Competitive compensation
- Career growth and learning opportunities
- Flexibility and ownership
- Collaborative and innovative culture
- Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
- International environment and talented teams
What’s it like to work at Nebius:
Fast moving – Bold thinking – Constant growth – Meaningful impact – Trust and real ownership – Opportunity to shape the future of AI
