Sample interview questions
I would first research the company's business model, strategic priorities, technology stack, and likely data use cases. I would map relevant decision-makers and influencers, develop role-specific messaging, and use a sequence of calls, emails, and LinkedIn touches. I would track engagement in the CRM and refine the approach based on responses and conversion data.
I treat rejection as useful feedback rather than a personal outcome. I document common objections, identify whether the issue is timing, fit, or messaging, and adjust my follow-up appropriately. Consistency, professionalism, and learning from each interaction help me maintain momentum.
I would confirm the prospect's role, company profile, business need, current process, urgency, and potential fit for YipitData's research products. I would ask discovery questions to understand the decision-making process and next steps. Then I would record clear notes and context in Salesforce so the account executive can run an effective follow-up conversation.
I would reference a specific company initiative, market development, or challenge relevant to their function and connect it to a concise hypothesis about how alternative data could support their decision-making. The message would focus on the stakeholder's likely priorities rather than generic product features, and it would end with a low-friction request for a short conversation.
I would prioritize time-sensitive and high-intent inbound leads first, then protect dedicated blocks for scheduled calls and focused outbound activity. I would use CRM tasks and clear activity goals to ensure follow-ups do not slip. At the end of the day, I would review results, update records, and prepare the highest-value actions for the next day.
