Sample interview questions
I would segment target systems by strategic fit, patient-experience maturity, size, current technology environment, and whitespace potential. I would map key economic buyers, clinical and operational champions, procurement stakeholders, and likely competitive incumbents. I would then prioritize a focused account list, define account-specific value hypotheses, and maintain sufficient qualified pipeline coverage against quota.
I use MEDDPICC to validate measurable business impact, identify the economic buyer, understand decision criteria and process, document paper-process requirements, surface pain, find a credible champion, and assess competition. I review gaps early and build mutual action plans that address them before forecasting a deal as commit. This creates more accurate forecasts and reduces late-stage surprises.
I would begin with the organization’s strategic priorities, such as patient experience, HCAHPS performance, staff burnout, access, quality, or operational consistency. I would connect the platform to a measurable outcome, demonstrate how insights can be operationalized across care settings, and support the business case with a phased adoption plan. My goal would be to frame the conversation around enterprise transformation rather than product features.
I create a stakeholder map and mutual action plan with clear owners, dates, dependencies, and executive escalation paths. I engage legal and security early, make sure technical requirements are understood, and keep the champion equipped with concise internal-value messaging. Regular deal-team reviews help maintain momentum and ensure every function is working toward the same close plan.
I would analyze usage, outcomes, stakeholder feedback, and adjacent business priorities to identify a credible expansion hypothesis. I would engage current champions alongside executive sponsors and leaders in underpenetrated functions, using proven value from the existing deployment as evidence. I would then propose a tailored expansion roadmap with success measures, implementation considerations, and a clear commercial path.
