Sample interview questions
I would segment target health systems by strategic fit, existing experience-management maturity, patient-experience priorities, and expansion potential. I would map buying committees, identify executive initiatives such as HCAHPS improvement and clinician retention, create account-specific value hypotheses, and maintain a qualified pipeline with clear next steps and coverage targets.
I use MEDDPICC to validate measurable business impact, identify the economic buyer, understand decision criteria and process, uncover procurement and legal risks, establish pain, develop an internal champion, and assess competition. This creates a mutual action plan and improves both forecast quality and deal execution.
I would connect the platform to outcomes that matter to each stakeholder: patient experience and HCAHPS for executive leadership, workforce feedback and burnout reduction for clinical leaders, and operational insight for service-line owners. I would use discovery to quantify the current gap and propose a phased program tied to measurable business and care outcomes.
I establish stakeholder maps and a mutual action plan early, confirm decision processes and timelines, and run parallel workstreams for business value, technical validation, security, and contracting. I communicate risks transparently, bring in internal experts at the appropriate stage, and keep the executive sponsor focused on the agreed strategic outcome.
I maintain strict CRM hygiene, use objective exit criteria for each stage, review close plans and stakeholder engagement regularly, and distinguish committed opportunities from upside. I also inspect pipeline coverage, conversion rates, aging, and next-step quality so that forecast calls are based on evidence rather than optimism.
